The City of Joburg need to tell locals and visitors how to get to matches smoothly – and all in a few weeks. We jumped in. First, 800 000 transport maps, distributed citywide. Next, 500 000 pocket editions handed out all over. And then 5 000 lanyards for city workers.

We brought in writers, fashionistas, experts, photographers and illustrators to pack the best of the host cities into one small, vibrant booklet. The fold-out cover made it interactive, spot gloss made it sing, and the result was collected by thousands.

Visa
Collectable cards caught the attention of Visa cardholders, engaging them while communicating important messaging from Visa. There were 12 cards, each representing a different national football team, in top-quality print.
